Events at the Trail
Easter Sunrise Service
Join with us as area churches come together and perform an amazing drama of Christ's journey from the cross, to the grave, and then again to LIFE.
Easter Sunday, we will gather in front of the cave at 6:45 am for the drama portion of our service and then inside the church for the remainer.
Light refreshments will be served following the service inside the Visitor's Center.
The Trail of Faith hosts 2 events throughout the year that were meaningful celebrations for the Waldensian communities. Their faithfulness to Christ was the reason for the sufferings and persecutions they lived under for hundreds of years. In this same light, we transform the cave exhibit into a backdrop for a wonderful live drama of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ on Easter morning at 6:45 am every year.
Christmas Lights Display
The annual Lighting of the Trail will be the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The Christmas Lights Display consist of over 100,000 LED light bulbs fashioned into favorite Christmas-time scenes. We will be serving hot chocolate and hot apple cider in the Visitor's Center for $1 per cup. There is no fee for admission but donations are most appreciated to offset the utility bill for the month. The Lights will be on from the Tuesday before Thanksgiving until December 24th, 6pm until 9pm each evening.
